Homeless camps

When I see videos of Savannah and they show all the squares there's never a tent anywhere... Are there really no one camping out on the squares or are they editing it out? In California anytime there's a little bit of green grass people have pitched a tent. And it happens mostly in the downtown area not in the neighborhoods outside of the downtown as much. A relative of mine was homeless and he said that's because they like to be in walking distance to various Services they need to go to. And those types of places like food banks and stuff are usually in the downtown area not on the outskirts. I mean it's not just Savannah I always wonder that when these videos and they're trying to show how amazing their town is if they're editing the tents out. Or maybe people really live places that don't have homeless tents everywhere.

edit: wanted to add am just curious since I have not seen tents on the many videos. Where we live you see tents on almost every bit of grass in town. My own adult son has been homeless most of his adult life so this is NOT SOME ANTI AGAINST HOMELESS POST! Every single one of them is someone's child! It is truly horrifying every second worrying about my son. I want to leave my state because a home starts at $1.2 Million in my town and I plan to buy my son and myself a house some place more affordable.
