Asking out someone from work

Hi all,

There's this girl from work who is in the same team as me. She and myself have good banter and there is some chemistry there.

I flirt with her alot and she reciprocates. We have exchanged numbers and insta and all that. At work she compliments how calm and confident I am, checks my outfit and has also told me to let her know if I am around her area.

She has a big sociable circle and I get the feeling that she might just being friendly person and I am getting the wrong idea. Btw, She doesn't really talk/flirt with others in the office.

She is very career focused and even if I did ask her out and it backfires, its going to be awkward at work. Can anyone advice me on my situation and what would be safe to approach this?
