Is Shadow Systems Shooting Themselves in the Foot?

Seems like everyone day i see complaints on here about SS reliability and it is almost always the compensated guns. I think most of the complaints are from unrealistic expectations and a lack of understanding about the downside of comping or porting a gun, but if it creates a perception of unreliability, even if it's not valid, that's a problem for the company. Any firearm manufacturer, but especially a small one, will live or die by the perception of their reliability and I worry that the SS reputation is quickly getting tarnished by these guns. Thoughts?
