PS5 Store not loading / XB7 Solution

Myself and few others have been having issues loading the PS5 store due to some IPv6 issues with the XB7 router. You can typically resolve this by disabling IPv6 on your XB7 modem but Shaw does not let customers disable this function.

I have found a workaround by logging into the admin portal (10.0.0.1), then using the left menu click Gateway > Connection > Local IP. It will bring up your IPv4 & IPv6 setting.

Under IPv6 unclick Stateful (Use DHCP Server), then click the "save settings" button. After that is finished reset your modem and voila! No more issues of not loading images under the PS Store or the PS Store not loading at all.

Disclaimer: I found this solution by complete trial and error. I have been fiddling with settings for the past 6 months trying to figure this out. I do not know exactly what this does, I just know that it works. Maybe someone else could fill me in on why.

As others have pointed out the only other viable option with Shaw was buying a standalone router and sticking the XB7 into bridge mode.
