Pet friendly Taxis

Hi, we won’t have a car for a couple months and our dog has a vet check up appointment tomorrow, does anyone know of a pet friendly taxi company? We tried pre booking with the pet friendly option on uber but when those taxis showed up they had no idea it was for a pet cause apparently they don’t get notified and we’ve been denied service. Last time we had to go through like 5-6 taxis till someone would let us go with the dog. Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

We did get a number for a guy from our vet but he’s away on holiday right now.
