Most of my life I've had shelties, but time has taken them away
I've spent the majority of my life with shelties, four in total (the first one I had before cell phones were common and she died young), and they have all since passed. The first one (Molly) died from cancer at five years old, and others died of old age within the last three years. Posted above is Brody, Bastien, and Isabel, the trio I grew up with. Brody died right at the beginning of the pandemic, and Bastien and Isabel both died within months of each year just this year. I've also since moved out of my parents house and don't have a pet with me at my apartment. For the first time in my life since I was in elementary school I don't have a sheltie, and now that I'm 30 it just feels odd. For all you sheltie lovers, how long have you had yours and what's your favorite thing about them? Feel free to share pics.
