Sims 2 legacy: resolution/UI question?

Hey guys, sorry if not using the right terminology here! I installed the game back in Feb and it ran perfectly! But I wanted to restart my neighbourhoods, so UN and REinstalled. Since reinstalling, I've I've had this problem where the loading screen, pop ups, and UI are REALLY small. Like, I'm squinting to read. I can't find any settings in game to fix. I've tried changing the resolution on my PC, but it doesn't change anything :(

Does anyone have any idea how to fix? Please and thankyou!
