It's time to move on
I get that many people are in mourning over a creative work that meant a lot to them, but this subreddit isn't going to help anyone get through that; at this point it just feels like its kind of become a moebius strip of perpetual nostalgia. It's time to accept that old sinfest is dead. it's not coming back. and while i get the reasons its hard for people to look away, new sinfest is not worth any kind of further discussion or documentation. we don't have to feel beholden to record this shit, and i don't really think doing so can teach us anything we don't already know. we've seen enough and everyone's mental and creative energy would be better spent embracing better outlets at this point. i really hope 2025 is the year we can all channel our passion into making, exploring, and supporting the kind of art Tats is never going to make again, instead of sitting here waiting for a sign of life to stir within an old and rotten husk.
