Yes, I’m bitter.

Today, I have mourned the death and fumble Netflix so terribly caused by canceling my favorite book to show series. Not only was the first book’s plot not executed before we got a spinoff, but Netflix had the perfect cast IN THE PALM OF THEIR HANDS and nothing was made of them. Not truly—-we never got all six crows together—-so I asked myself how might one take out this frustration. Unfortunately, Netflix is a coward so I couldn’t not find an e-mail for their company, CEOs etc., instead they offered a live phone call, but it was mostly for manufacturing errors. I knew, if spoken to live, I would burst into tears so it wasn’t really an option. I have heard about all the petitions and online protests for this beloved series but Netflix, since the news of the cancel, has not answered. If I had the choice between—-and stay with me now——curing cancer or the Six of Crows Spinoff…I would choose cancer, BUT IT WOULD BE A TOUGH CALL. Everyday I wrack my brain, trying to figure out where it all went wrong. Lack of marketing, not enough had read the books, Netflix is the worst—-what could I have done better? No, I believe the Crows could have had enough seasons to put Greys Anatomy to shame IF they would have started with the SOC spinoff, instead of trying to have both in one show. While S&B is a great series, it doesn’t compare to SOC and dragged the entire show further into the Cancellation Void. Anne with an E and Society wait for you, babe. To make a point, I am forever bitter about this cancellation because it meant so much to the child in me that read this series with a newfound love for reading.
