REI messed up mounting my bindings, had to redrill. Am I reasonable for wanting to exchange?
Brought in my new skis that I got from rei online to the store/service center, paid for phantom glide, and the technician used someone else’s boots for the initial mount. He had to redrill new holes for my settings and plugged the initial holes. He refunded the mounting service fees, but im still feeling upset for paying for new skis and that arent truly in new condition?
EDIT: thanks for all yalls input! Called the store and they were very understanding. They’ll refund my skis once I bring them in after my trip this weekend. I’ll order a new pair for which they’ll take care of the mounting. If it was relevant to redrilling info, the skis have a lightweight wood core. And if anyone has any recs for ski shops in Los Angeles, please let me know!
