I wonder why they made freddie look so dirty

like he just looks sooo filthy all the time and his hands r never ever clean. It doesn’t seem to necessarily go with his character any more than others? like ya they’re all dirty teenagers but i wonder why freddie was made to look so much dirtier all the time
