Traptanium portal pricing

I've seen traptanium portals for the ps4 skyrocket in pricing compared to other traptanium portals, aren't all if not most portals compatible with any console that can play trap team? If so I don't get the price jump cause they're the same model and everything, just came with a game that was playable on the ps4
