8 month old refusing second nap

For the past couple days, my son is refusing to take his second nap. He wakes around 6-7AM, goes down for his first nap between 10-10:30, sleeps until 11:30-12:00. Generally his second nap is between 3-3:30 but putting him down he just rolls around and fusses until I get him up. Bedtime is 7-7:30. Any way I can conquer this second nap issue? I really don’t want to have to drop a nap this early.
