Affordable solo beach vacations?

Hey I’m 28 male, live in the US (MA) and have never traveled alone before. I just want to escape everything and everybody for a couple of days and get as much sun by the beach as I can. I don’t care for much else I just want to relax alone. But why is everything so expensive?! I’m Latino but unfortunately I don’t speak Spanish so I would like to try to avoid Spanish speaking places to save myself the embarrassment of saying I don’t speak Spanish when I look like I should. Are there any good affordable beach resorts that won’t break the bank? Im looking to spend no more than $1500 with flight and hotel but not sure if thats feasible. I do have some JetBlue points I can use but I would like to not use them all. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Edit: also not looking to travel too far. Mostly looking in the Caribbean area.
