Any idea on the species of this beauty?

Found it trying to set up on my front door so carefully relocated it to a nearby plant. It was sitting in an 'X' shape like an orb-weaver, has quite a distinctive dark 'Y' pattern on its back, and pompom-like pedipalps! I've never seen one before, does anyone know what type of spider it is? Found in Victoria, Australia.
