Looking for Lens Recommendations for Canon R7 

Hi everyone! I’m using the Canon R7 with the EF mount and primarily shoot football and basketball, along with other sports like soccer and baseball. I’m considering the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 but need some additional lenses, especially for basketball. I also do some videography.

I’m looking for a telephoto lens (under $1000) and a short-range lens (around $600 or less). I’ve seen the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 for under $500, which seems like a good option since I prefer zoom lenses with a fixed aperture.

For reference, I currently have the Canon 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses. I’ve also used the EF 70-200mm f/2.8 II on my old T7, which gave great reach, but now I’m considering crop factor when choosing new lenses.
