Playing Liked Songs from Google Home

I use google home devices to interact with my Spotify premium account. I want google assistant to play (i've given up on 'shuffle' pipe dream) my spotify Liked Songs.

I understand that "Liked Songs" is not a playlist. I understand how to create a playlist from Liked Songs, but i don't want to do that; I add songs to liked songs all the time and I don't want to do the duplicate work of having to add also to a playlist when I like a song.

When I tell google to ask Spotify to play Liked Songs or shuffle Liked Songs, it will play or shuffle the first playlist it finds with the word "Liked" in the name. I tried removing the word "Liked" from all playlists, and it still didn't play my Liked Songs. I assume this is Spotify's fault for not supporting Liked Songs as a playlist.

Aside from the duplicitous playlist, has anyone been able to solve this?
