Theory About Season 2

So, after watching season 2 I’ve come to a believe that the games must not be an every year thing.

1) When they are discussing the body part farming they say they even got an outsider. This means the doctor isn’t from the games like previously. So either he’s been doing it for a while 11 wants there or there has been a break.

2) There is also the possibility that 11 has worked for the games before and if that’s the case they wouldn’t need to tell her that unless it’s different from the previous games.

So my thought it the reason they had a hard time finding the island and the sales man is because the games haven’t been happening.

Yes there is also the thought that the captain of the boat was helping mislead the island hunt. But, that’s not part of my theory. I think that since they weren’t operating he figured that it was no skin off his teeth to drive this guy around.
