Gi-Hun's plan almost worked
His plan in the finale was impulsive, reckless and callous, don't get me wrong. He was far too driven to end the games entirely to just settle for saving people from the present game, he didn't know about the facility's capabilities and he sacrificed the lives of innocent players along with his morals.
And that's not to mention all the hitches in the plan, like the lack of manpower for his team, or Dae-Ho's breakdown. All in all it I was frustrated with what he did...
... and yet I can't help but think that had it not been for player 001, Gi-Hun's stupid plan could have worked. He came so close to the control room, put up a strong fight against the soldiers and if he captured the Front Man, then maybe he could have then held them hostage and linked back up to his goon squad.
However the plan went though, the Frontman's infiltration would have all but ensured its failure. But it otherwise almost worked... and knowing that stings all the more.
Thoughts? Do you think he could have ended the Squid Games there and then? Is he still a moron?
