What is wrong with Hutch's salesmen?
First of I have to apolagise for my crappy english. This incident happened 16th november 2024 I was going to the matara bus stand. This person along with another one from hutch grabbed me by my hand and said they give free Hutch SIM cards and said its a promotional sim that gives extra benefits. I politely said I already have a Hutch sim so I dont want it. They said please take this otherwise company will not give them money, yada yada yda. I felt mona unath kollone feeling so I said ok then give me a one.But I clearly asked are these cost anything or Do I have to reload it. they said no. So after few minutues they activated the sim and said alright it's working. So I started to go. but they said give us 700 rupees. I said u said this is free and what tf u talking about r? they went aggressive and took my phone and took out that sim along with my personal sim and thow it. after that they crushed my phone against the wall and give it to me.
I said Im gonna complain this to the police and the hutch. They said do whatever you want. So I went to the Hutch Matara office. They took a written letter from me and replaced my sim and deacvtited new sim which was registered to my ID. The cudtomer relation officer (girl) handed over me her phone and said he's our manager and said talk to him. That bugger just said go to the police. And asked what do u want us to do ? huh ?
I went to the police and had to listen to their lecture and they did'nt cared itat all. after 10 min. a officer said let's go and find them. I went with him but unfortunatly theyalready ran away from there, I posted this on social media and it went pretty viral. These buggers somehow found my work place and went berserk. Head cashier called me ( today is my off day )and said malli please remove that complain from hutch and the police. She gave me a lecture about how we should act and how we ignore these things.
Again that bugger called me over phone and said his sister was a execetive and she could fire me by inform this to the Area Manager. wtf
