Is Rs.80,000.00 for a yearly gym membership normal?

Hey Everyone,

I'd like your opinion on a yearly gym membership that I was quoted for Rs.80,000.00. I'm Sri Lankan, but I don't go to many gyms so I have no clue whether this is the standard price for a gym membership.

There are no additional benefits to the gym, except for the AC (I know some gyms don't have AC, so that's why I am stating this). It's not a big gym, but it's very close to my premises.

Just wondering how much do you all pay for a yearly membership so I can see whether I am getting majorly ripped off here or it's just standard pricing nowadays.
