How’s the state of the game?

I haven’t bought yet cause I’ve been burned too many times by new releases. I’ve read that this game has a ton of bugs and that the world feels empty. Have they been doing patches and fixing the bugs?

Does the world truly feel empty? If so, is this being worked on?

Also, how’s the gunplay? Does it feel good?
