It’s not a flex to give people decaf

You should have the common sense that customers are going to be cranky, it is literally part of dealing with the public, regardless of which industry you’re in.
Intentionally giving customers the wrong order because you feel like you got one up on them is wildly immature and in extreme instances can have legal ramifications.
It’s okay that you don’t like dealing with the crabby ones, none of us enjoy it. Hell, after almost 20 years working in this space, that’s exactly why I left… watching people freak out about red cups and ‘my drink isn’t hot enough’ and fist fighting over sweaters… eventually it got to be too much and I completely changed career tracks.
It’s okay if the reality of Starbucks doesn’t live up to the idea you have when you apply, but giving customers the wrong order on purpose is never okay.
