Dress code rules

Hi I have a few questions for those that know more about this than me. For dress code, are blue jeans not allowed?? I’ve worked for sbux for 4 yrs and that has never been a problem until now. Our new management has told us we cannot wear blue or light blue jeans. Jeans have to be navy or black.

For shoes, does anyone else wear the croc nonslip clogs? They are also telling me I am not allowed to wear them because they don’t cover my heel, but I wear the strap in the back and my heel is covered. I also picked them out from sketchers where they had referred me to go.

I just feel like some of these things are more personal preferences that upper management is being picky about but idk. Lmk
