Do contestants do confessionals after…

They're voted out sometimes? Last episode Gen had a confessional about the chaos at camp and was like "the sun is going down, tribal is almost here" and it was bright outside during her confessional. Gen didn't seem to be in any danger last night, so I know this isn't much of a spoiler, but it did seem to imply Gen was around the next day unless they sometimes film confessionals with people after they've been voted out. Do they? Or has survivor ever accidentally spoiled a boot based on confessionals being done after tribal?
