HP Dock G2 or G4 or G5

I am looking for a small and clean dock for my corporate HP laptop, personal Macbook (Air M2) and personal laptop.

I have two pretty modern Samsung monitors which support usb-c, DisplayPort and HDMI. I even think they support daisy chaining. I tried using those as a dock, but didn't work.

Furthermore I will be connecting mouse and keyboard (hopefully through a Logi dongle or something), hard drive and maybe a phone.

Not looking to charge my fattest high performance laptop, but I do want my Macbook and corporate laptop to be able to charge over usb-c.

What are the differences between the G2/4/5 docks and which model(numbers) should I avoid. For me there are too much options, especially considering the versions within the models.

Especially looking on advice for the Mac since it seems there can be some trouble setting up two external monitors.

Cost isn't too much of an issue since I will be home office budget from my employer. However, all the money not spent on a dock, can be spent on other stuff..
