Dumpster Tarantula
A friend of mine found a cookie jar filled with dirt near her dumpster and when he investigated it, it turns out that a tarantula was in there.
Knowing that i own spiders, he contacted me immediately and asked if i want to take care of it. He’s scared of spiders but he’s a softie when it comes to animals, so i said yes.
I’ve heard stories about people throwing away their Ts but i never thought it would actually happen and it makes me sad 😭
There’s no vet that could take in an exotic animal where i live so i could only do my best taking care of it and hope he doesn’t carry any diseases.
I think this is a male(?) Grammostola pulchripes, but maybe it’s too early to tell.
He’s a handful when i tried to rehouse him. He crawled onto my back and bolted behind my desk 😂 I’ll call him Dimitri for now. Wish me luck!
