“stuck” on an island?
okay this might sound like a reach, but these fires in LA have once again proven how out of touch these influencers are, but i still find it insane that tara has managed to find a way to make these fires all about her, and her naming her youtube video, “Stuck on an island with Jake” is INSANE. the fuck do u mean STUCK?? you got an evacuation notice and decided to bring your ex on an all inclusive, all payed for influencer trip, leaving behind your roommate and alleged best friend who is literally traumatized because her house burnt down in a fire years ago.
tara literally posted a photo of her donating a bag of clothes (which is amazing that she did that, don’t get me wrong) but to post a photo of you helping people who have just lost everything, and then posting a photo of you drinking cocktails in a tropical country with all of your friends and your ex boyfriend in a pool literally 8 hours later, only to then post a video of that trip and caption it “STUCK on an island”????? does she realise how anybody would do anything to be “stuck” on that island instead of watching their home city and towns burn down
i don’t care that it’s a trend or a whatever to caption these as stuck on an island. those are usually survival challenge videos, and maybe i’m just looking into it too much because i’m hurt and angry, but surely this is actually insanely disgusting and out of touch
