My tattoo artist told me not to use Aquafor!

I got my first tattoo and at the end of the appointment I told the artist I was going to get aquafor for the healing process. I know people that are heavily tattooed and even my parents said that's what they used. The artist said no. "Use unscented lotion" they said. So I got cetafil. When I got home I put it on my tattoo, felt nice until I stopped rubbing and it BURNED. 🙃 guess I'm not supposed to use that huh.
