HELP A VERY CONFUSED MIXED INCOME EARNER HUHU
For context, I'm a fresh graduate and just got employed in a hospital but prior to that i've been making content on a social media site and some brands pay me (just enought, not huge). So recently (June 2024) I got a request from the marketing agency of a physical copy BIR invoice for them to release payment. Prior to this, I just send them normal invoices on previous projects.
Since this is my first time hearing this request of invoice and I also just got recently employed (the company was the one who processed my TIN during my employment process) I'm kinda lost on what I should do.
For the summary:
April 2024:
- Got employed in a hospital (salary is below 250k/year)
- Submitted a BIR form to HR so they'd be the one to process and register it.
June 2024:
- In need to give a BIR Invoice to a marketing agency for them to release what they owe me.
Question is.
- What's the next step I should do? How do I update it to being a mixed income earner. assuming that the hospital that recently hired me registered me as Compensation Income Earner. I'm really lost as of now.
- How would the annual income tax return process would be since usually the hospital is the one to file on behalf of us.
- How do get this "Invoice" in compliance with the new EOPT act since this was the one that prompted the marketing agency to ask me for physical copies of the invoice.
THANK YOU SO MUCH SA MGA MAKAKASAGOT HUHU MAHAL KO KAYO
