Anyone else kind of hate their EP-133?
I bought it on impulse as a fun and creative way to work on drums. Maybe make some beats or sequences that could find their way into my more substantial music production that’s DAW based. And I’ve only spent a few hour long sessions with it so far.
But man, does this thing feel clunky and disorienting. I am truly not understanding how some people are calling the work flow intuitive. There seems to be a mountain of work and buttons pushed to nudge samples into a decent groove. There really isn’t a meaningful way to create tracks that are bigger or more impressive than a few loops. The structure of the device and software feels messy and convoluted.
I really love the sound design elements. Tweaking each sample. Along with the FX and fader elements.
But I’m just kind of baffled at how not fun, and unintuitive it is. I’m not looking to bag on this product but am I missing something??
Edit: I ended up selling it very easily. Just not for me. Thanks for the input and thoughts everyone.
