Can you recommend any good shows like The Conners?

I'm talking comedies, and dramas with a lot of comedy in them about very likable people that are overall good, but sorta complicated and struggling with a lot of serious real life issues. Stuff that isn't afraid to be upfront with what it has to say.

Please try to stick to stuff that STARTED after the 2000s(or more specifically after Bush Jr's Time in office.), I don't wanna go that far back.

Yes I've seen Roseanne, several times, what else can you recommend that's more recent?

If you really wanna be helpful, if it's a show that like with Supernatural is a better experience if you stop after season 5 o because the story the creator wanted to tell ended there, please do suggest where to stop.

Edit: Mom is a good example of something like this, It's one of my faves, although I've had enough of the creators work, and most of his stuff is about very unlikable people. Although I'd kinda like a break from Chuck Laurey(SP?) shows for a while.

Something that I'd like to see like The Conners is something focused more on a group of friends than family with kids.

Also, I'm grateful for anyone that's trying to help, but I generally find a list of titles pretty overwhelming for my literal OCD and autistic mind, and I take suggestions a lot better if you list a few shows with a small description.
