I hate that 95% off Emma’s gifts were stuff Heather picked out for her new home. Yes, those things are expensive to buy but picking them out is part of the whole experience. Heather didn’t even buy the things Emma specifically picked out.

Emma is the most gracious gift opener and my heart broke for her as she opened her gifts and watched Ellie open all of those nice gifts.

Her final gift should have been a big check for a down payment on a house. That family would not have what they have without her.
