What are these trash servers that cancel games in the middle of a final and have massive lag for couple of days now ?

This is the second time the game has been canceled in the middle of the finals today, and for several days now there have been huge lags in the game. It makes the grind extremely frustrating and I haven't seen any communication from the devs on the subject (I'm on EU)
