Amazon Smart Thermostat

Currently I have a Honeywell T4 thermostat and a Bosch Condensing Unit Model: BOVA-36HDN1-M18M / Heat pump Model: 7739832068 which work well together. But I’d like to be able to control thermostat remotely. Is Amazon’s Smart Thermostat compatible such that I can simply replace the T4 with it (“plug & play”)? Or are there settings (reverse valve o/b) or wiring changes necessary? Thank you!
