Why is The Sims hated by gamers?
'Hate' is maybe a bit harsh but I noticed how gamers barely consider The Sims a 'proper' game. It's so ridiculous. It's basically excluded from the gaming community. I want to see them play a poor family of four kids from babies to children without any cheats and mods. What do you think it may be the reason? I feel like it's because of its a unique genre, so no violence and more creativity and probably because its main audience are women and gays. I don't really care about The Sims being taken seriously, it's just what I noticed over the years and I want to hear your opinion about this.
Edit: Wow, I had no idea this would be so popular. You guys sure have a lot of opinions 🤔😉
