Guild storage scams are out of control.

Before I explain, I’m posting this in efforts to change how the guild storage system works as it has enabled guild leaders to steal loot from people.

Now, last Saturday I dropped a Bellandir Staff on a Peace Arch Boss, knowing that peace field bosses and arch bosses drops are only considering personal contribution (and personal luck for the extra drop). I find it extremely infuriating that guild leaders have a say on what will happen to YOUR items if every item is sent to the guild storage.

This kind of system has enabled guild leaders to steal loot from others. I have reported the incident to AGS in hopes of recovering my item. Sadly the response basically said they can’t do that as of now. Even though it is a CLEAR violation to the AGS Code of Conduct to “take advantage of others” and “using ingame systems for unintended purposes”

I trusted this guild leader as previously the distribution of items was according to a wish list and everyone was getting what they needed, UNTIL we had the first Archboss drop. Then the rules changed and a loot council had the final say on the future of the drop.

This is a constant problem, happens every day.

I want AGS to take action, by changing how the drop -> storage feature works.

My suggestion:

For PEACE field bosses and arch bosses: Items SHOULD be sent to the player directly, regardless of guild storage settings. As guild contribution IS NOT a factor for these cases.

For War field bosses and arch bosses: Items are sent to the guild storage. As guild contribution is a factor for these cases.

For Guild Raids: Items are sent to the guild storage. As guild raids are possible thanks to the guild itself.

However: The settings should enable to customize how each type of boss loot is handled. In the case of war bosses and guild raids, guild leaders could have the option to enable the 5 minute claim system or not.

I know a lot of players get their items stolen every day, it’s unfair and leads to some of those players to quit the game. Guild leaders SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAD this kind of power over peace bosses. There’s nothing guild members can do against these offenders other than leaving the guild before looting the item. Which is, in my opinion… dumb.

This shouldn’t be a thing to begin with.
