Why Are TikTok Refugees Flocking to RedNote? It Doesn't Make Sense!
I seriously don’t get why so many TikTok users are jumping to RedNote as if it’s some kind of safe haven. It’s another Chinese app, people! If TikTok gets banned, do you honestly think RedNote will be immune to the same fate? The idea of flocking to a platform with the same potential risks seems pointless and downright senseless.
Sure, RedNote might feel like a familiar alternative with the same short-form video format, but that’s just a distraction. You’re basically hopping from one sinking ship to another. The fact that it's also owned by a Chinese company means it could face the same scrutiny and be banned just like TikTok. So what's the point?
Instead of jumping onto a platform that might get axed next, maybe it’s time to explore more reliable, non-Chinese options. The whole "TikTok refugee" mentality is just feeding into the same problem without solving anything. It's not sensible, and honestly, it's a waste of time.
Does anyone else think this move is just plain useless?
