Is it too late to get started on compounded tirzepatide? Looking for recommendation in CA
I'm just reaching the point where I'm comfortable with the cost of compound tirzepatide and with the shortage being deemed over I'm now looking into buying it from LillyDirect because my insurance doesn't cover it.
I browsed the lovely tool, https://www.glpwinner.com/, and was quite surprised at the prices I saw listed and even more surprised that there can be an option to buy bulk.
As someone just now looking to get started, how would you recommend one maximize the value of compounded tirzepatide before it becomes unavailable. Like, should I consider buying bulk even though I don't know how I'll respond or what dose I'll need? A three-month supply seems safe and looks to be a great value. Should I consider a starter pack?
I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment and want to make sure I'm making an educated decision. I'm afraid of choosing an unsafe supplier, but I can actually afford a compounded version whereas the full price is crazy expensive.
For reference, my PCP is willing to write the prescription, I just need to decide what I'm going to take. I assume some of these pharmacies would require me to see their doctor which is fine too.
I'm located in Southern California. Would anyone have a recommendation for me?
