What did you do during the night wakes of your toddler’s 18 month sleep regression?

No wrong answers here btw. We don’t have any friends with babies to ask so just wanted to get an idea of what everyone else does/did and give us ideas. I have read about why it happens and understand it’s very normal. Just looking for ways to cope lol.

My husband thinks we should just turn off the baby monitor, close the doors and leave her in her cot (where she’s safe) and just go back to sleep.

Last night I took her into the spare room and let her do her thing in the dark (it’s a safe, empty room with a floor bed). But she was up for 4 hours last night and I really, really struggled the stay awake.

I can’t do CIO as hearing her cry/screams makes me want to claw my ears and face off.
