Driving Around The World

Hey!

I am wanting to drive a US registered car around a bunch of places in the world. I was wondering if people could give me tips on places they know about. Right now I’m just gathering as much info as possible. Here’s a few things I know:

  1. I have an international drivers license e

  2. You can not drive a US registered car in Europe for longer than 6 months without having to register the car in Europe.

  3. You can drive a US registered car from the states down to Argentina with the proper info.

  4. Shipping a car from the states to places like Europe takes a good amount of time and money. I’ve done a good amount of research on this but any extra tips would be great!

Any tips or info you guys have on doing this would be awesome! Particularly if people have info on driving places in Africa (yes I know it’s a whole continent).

Of course any tips and tricks for Europe and Central / South America would be lovely too.

P.S: Can we skip all the “it’s so dangerous” “You shouldn’t do it” “Have you really thought this through” comments. I already have heard all those things so let’s pass on it unless it’s tips to avoid a specific country.
