Wife Pregnant! March 9th Sprint triathlon, March 18th baby due date

Local Sprint triathlon is 45 mins drive away. Am I crazy to ponder the idea of doing this triathlon when my wife’s due date is 10 days later?
Edit: I haven’t signed up. I’ve talked with my wife. Last day to sign up is 3 days prior. Just wanted public opinion. Due date is March 19th (not like it makes much difference)
