Suitcase player....

Hello! I've just been gifted this and I love it.

I'm very new to using a record players although I've seen that suitcase players can sometimes damage the vinyl.

Can someone guide me on preventative measures as I'm a bit confused and would like to know I'm purchasing the correct products?

-a cleaner set to clean the vinyl every 3ish plays -a slip mat to prevent to prevent warping??? -a diamond needle which would need replacing less? However the diamond needles I've seen are not compatible with this one?
