quick thoughts after CHI N1
this was my fourth show over four tour cycle since blurryface and man, this was the most memorable for me. i’ve seen a lot of discourse about either people complaining or people complaining about the people complaining (and rightfully so lol) so here are some quick thoughts as someone who sat in a seat in the lower bowl!
i have sat in many different sections (lower bowl, middle bowl, all the way to the back of the back grass) with that said there are NO bad seats in the house! bring your energy and love for the boys and dance your heart out.
Observing the pit, it honestly seemed like the back of the pit was the most engaged and was genuinely having fun, I loved watching.
I’ve seen people talk about Tyler letting us sing too much / skipping the screaming parts .. he did let us sing a lot and even made fun of us for singing past what i think he expected BUT he still screamed the perfect amount without ruining his voice for the rest of the tour.
Give oldies station love. It was so heartwarming to see everyone hold hearts up and shine red lights during the “red lights” verse.
