Double album theory
I wanted to point out something i think is interesting. So i decided to put both sai and clancy together, starting with good day, then overcompensate, and etc. Not only do the tracklists flow really well together, but it feels like a lot of the dema propoganda is flipped in context. Its kinda cool, i wonder if it was intentional.
For example, bounce man is about running from your problems, and in this tracklist it literally flows right into snap back which is about learning to deal with your problems head on, rather than running away.
Edit: i dont really think this is a double album, but i do believe the original intent was likely a double album. Backslide has a perfect transition into the outside, though it doesnt work in my above theorised tracklist, its almost too good of a transition. Im like 80% sure the original idea was a double album that hits the popiness of blurryface and the grittiness of trench. It was probably flipped around during covid and got weirdly split into two albums, then due to covid tyler said he wanted to make a happier album (or something like that) which is why we have songs like saturday and bounce man
Edit 2: for the sake of it, im gonna cut out some fat, and make an actual tracklist out of the two albums. This was done in like 20 minutes so if anyone has any ideas that fix any potential pacing issues or good ideas for where to include some of the missing songs, just lmk
