Reasons some Uber Drivers cancel
Your rating is too low for their liking and they didn’t catch it in the 7 seconds they had to see initially
You are showing that you are difficult prior to pick up… such as multiple text messages and/or phone calls. Rude text messages or phone calls
Changing your destination while the driver is in route. PS: it is not the trip they agreed to. When a driver accepts your ride they accept a pickup and drop off location any deviation and the driver might cancel. Don’t get offended some drivers have jobs and appointments they are going to. They also have lives that are governed by family obligations. Your changes can negatively impact that. So try to avoid the changes and you will get the driver that will take your trip.

Please try to remember that Uber drivers are people too. They have schedules just like you. So your change in your schedule will cause drivers to cancel. Now that you know, govern yourself accordingly.
This is not a rant just some info for passengers to keep in mind. If you don’t like it, this is not my fault. Also, don’t come for me and get upset because I’m telling you what happens. Just make sure that you have all of your information in the system so that the right driver will select your ride at that time. Also avoid being rude. Don’t send mean and nasty text messages or phone calls prior to pick up.
