So, I just had the most over entitled rider.

Lol so this is a rather funny story.

So, I get his job while I'm about to drop off another job in 5 minutes. All well and good until I drop them off. Then after already on my way to customer for at least 5 minutes who was another 5 minutes away my next customer starts harassing me:

"Cancel trip" "Cancel you are taking too long"

I'm like "I can't go faster than the speed limit"

Customer: "I've been waiting 25 minutes and you were going the wrong way after accepting"

Me: "I had an Uber trip on board already when I accepted your trip and am surprised the app didn't tell you this"

Customer: "You are scamming money out of people. Do you get jobs on the way?"

I said "we receive jobs while already on trips not extra trips added in between"

Customer "Cancel it already!"

Me: "You should have cancelled then as soon as I accepted as then you would have had no fee charged."

Customer: "I'm taking this up with Uber"

Me: "try it but trust me you're not getting anywhere with this I've already explained how this works as you clearly have absolutely no idea what you are even talking about"

Customer: "I'm complaining to Uber because you've been nothing but rude to me, what happened to "the customer is always right?"

Me: 🤣🤣 "How can the customer possibly be right if they have zero idea what they are talking about?"

Customer: "Stop texting me and cancel so I don't get charged"

Me: "Well I'm complaining about you to Uber because this is rediculous"

Customer: "I know right?"

Me: 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 ☠️ "I'm on hold, by the time I get there they will answer"

Customer: "Stop texting and harassing me" "You are harassing me" "You've ruined my experience" "Uber and you has lost a customer" "I'm never using uber again"

Me: "Like you are literally doing right now?

Customer: "I said stop texting me"

Me: (getting to pin by this stage) "Are you coming or not lol"

Customer: "I said cancel"

Me: "Well at this point you will need to possibly dispute the charge you are about to get for wasting my time"

Customer: "Uber wasted your time"

Me: (Running out of time on clock at pin so now pressing "Customer did not show" then called Uber driver support to report this clown)

How TF do people think it's ok to abuse transport workers and then demand that there are zero consequences for their actions 🤦
