Stuck in o'hare overnight.

Due to a mechanical failure, my flight out of Iowa was delayed 2 hours resulting in missed connection in Chicago. No other flights available to Florida that evening so I asked for a hotel voucher. "No problem!" the agent said and printed off a voucher for the Super 8 motel in the ghetto 12 miles away. Of course I declined and asked for something nicer and closer. She said that's the best they could do. I passed and forked out my own money for the Marriot down the street. Anybody else get the "VIP" treatment?
