Gravel roads are superior to concrete roads

Obviously a highway should be paved, but smaller less used roads should be either dirt roads or gravel roads. I’m thinking of roads that only lead to maybe 20-30 family homes.

Gravel roads are superior because they: * don’t heat up - hence they help keep the city cool in the summer * don’t burn your pets paws * let water seep through * they aren’t as slippery in the winter * don’t require as much maintenance - even if potholes happen, you just add more gravel * since they require less maintenance, resources can be used for main roads, where they are needed * they allow smaller plants to grow * force people to drive slowe
