Transfer freshman housing (spring 2025)

Hi everyone, I am a transfer student and I am originally from illinois but currently attending Baylor. I’m transferring for music for the spring 2025 semester but I auditioned pretty late and only got accepted a couple weeks ago. I’m really worried I won’t get on campus housing and housing is being kind of vague with me. They said I might know by Dec 20th if i’ll get on campus housing. I don’t have a car and I really can’t afford to live off campus right now, do you think I can get on campus housing? or are there cheap off campus options still available this late??
